Major Set back for Left Parties

The left parties have shown the worst performance in election 2009. The left party was projecting the third front ,but the parties within the third front failed miserably. The left leader are busy meeting with other instead of campigning in the their states. More over lack of coordination was responsible for the failure of the party in the elction in 2009.Particularly in kerala the LDF lacked coordiantion among the member parties. Kerala even saw the erosion of the left vote in the left mainland kannur. what went wrong?. A detailed study into this must be looked in. 1. Is it was neccessary to have relationship with the madauny to a high scale. 2.what was a neccessary for the fighting with the member of the LDF. 3.IS the janta dal Secular had any effect on the election 4 is the lavalin case had some effect on the election. 5 how much influence was their for the Church circulum. 6.Why a group of communist failed to come for election. Is it due to internal fight ?... Question are endless.. ...

RAHUL'S DESIRE TO RETAIN POWER

Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday signaled Congress inclination to do business with Left parties, but made it clear that Manmohan Singh’s status as the UPA’s prime ministerial candidate was non-negotiable. The Congress scion also reached out to potential new allies like the TDP and JD(U), suggesting party calculations that the UPA may not be able to muster the required numbers. Praising TDP and JD(U) leadership, Rahul said Nitish Kumar and Chandrababu Naidu were among those who had given priority to development. “I respect Naidu. He has done a good job... maybe he focused on Hyderabad too much but he has done work,” he said. During the hour-long press conference, a relaxed and confident Gandhi refused to go into numbers except to say that the Congress would do better than it did in the last elections when it won 145 seats on its own. Rahul’s categorical assertion that the UPA leadership including the Left will have little choice but to accept Dr Manmohan Singh’s candidature is certain to ruffle ...

The 58-year-old former Andhra Pradesh chief minster also said that he was not in the race for prime ministership. Congress reduced to 'Fourth Front' in some states: BJP

With the Patali Makkal Katchi breaking its ties with the United Progressive Alliance, the Bharatiya Janata Party [ Images ] on Thursday took pot-shots at the Congress-led alliance saying this showed the "delivery mechanism of the Congress was failing" and it had been reduced to the "Fourth Front" in several states. "With a crucial ally like the PMK gone in Tamil Nadu, the delivery mechanism of the Congress seems to be failing. Now Congress plus UPA comes to very little as it has alliances only in Maharashtra and West Bengal," BJP general secretary Arun Jaitley [ Images ] told PTI. "In the 134 seats of Uttar Pradesh [ Images ], Bihar and Jharkhand, the Congress has actually become the Fourth Front," he said, adding, "The front runners are now the underdogs." BJP's chief strategist said Sharad Pawar's [ Images ] Nationalist Congress Party and Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress may have an alliance with the Congress "bu...
