facility: All Stage of the SCM need neccessary facilities to make SCM system work properly.manufacturer requires production facility while other stage of the supply chain require storage facility as well as material movement facility.
Inventory - refer to the idle resource.sense of the economy is cause for any stock . it should not be small or very large.
Transportation: deals with both inter organisational movements. There are different means available like air , water , surface mode for the transportation.of this water is cheaper mode of transportation because it is more fuel efficent and carry more pay load but less responsive.
