Swach bharat Campaign

The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi pet project of "Clean INDIA" started on October 2 2014 with a huge fan fare . The Campaign is christened as Swach Bharat Campaign . The Campaign started with PM himself cleaning and posing for photos . This was followed by many celebrity and politicians also posing with a broom stick . A million Dollar Effort and Commitment from each and every citizen of the Country is needed for the success of this project . If this project succeed then the health condition of the rural India will also improve . Instead of making it a Photo option the political class need to put in whole hearted effort to make india Clean . The First and fore most place that need cleaniness is the INDIAN Railway and its Assests . If the Condition improves there then the Entire country will change . For this to happen the Open latrine of the Indian Railway locomotives need to replaced and new fool proof & efficient technology need to be developed .
During my School Days particularly during my Stay in M T Seminary School Hostel at Kottayam every year on october 2 hostel management used to organized as day to clean the entire hostel campus and the school campus along with the NCC Cadets . There was no Campaign nor any visit by any political leaders or Photo Option that time . Senior Student & hostel Wardens lead the Team . Entire hostel campus is Cleaned & the Waste is burned or diposed . This process enable to reduce the Mosquito level for the next one year . It was a time of Enjoynment and fun . Time when we can find some snake hole and even time when we chased some snake out . This activity is followed by full chicken rich meal & sweet . My point here is it is mission which is not a new idea but will need years of effort to achieve the goal of Clean India.
Now all City and Municipality in India are facing the huge issue of Waste disposal and Containment . With Population rise and strict environment norms the conventional waste disposal method is not working . New Nucleus Family system living in a Flat or Housing plot of less than 5 Cents resulted in each house hold being short of proper waste management system . Govt also missed the good scope of business from it. Now it is high time to imposse waste tax for each kg of the waste generated by a house hold to reduce the waste generation . Another major issue is the lack of proper sanitation facility in house hold in Rural India particularly in Central & north india . People are forced to defacet in open place . A revolution is need to change the mind set of people . A whole heart effort from Govt in all form to enforce the People to start constructing Toilets in each house hold .
Swach bhart Campaign need to transform into revolution in this effort and not form a mere photo posing opportunity for the politicians . For this Proper education with public campaign & ads is needed . This campaign should be followed by technological & governmental support without which this campaign will fail to find the mission .
